Nick Sexton, Founder/Director/Editor
Nick was born in Atlanta and grew up in Clifton, Virginia. He earned a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2014 and graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a B.S. in Geography. While at UGA Law he served as the founder and president of the Land Use and Planning Organization and received the Student Pindar Award from the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. When not thinking about development issues he can be found stargazing, taking photographs, staring at maps, hiking in the Georgia wilderness, or watching a soccer game.
Nick was a contributor to Flagpole Magazine in Athens, GA writing about development and zoning issues. He recently had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion about the development issues facing Atlanta on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s “On Second Thought.”
